ZZ Garage Co. isn’t a big production shop — and we never wanted it to be.

 

We’re Travis and Amber, a husband-and-wife team with a serious love for old trucks, working with our hands, and building things the way we believe they should be built.

​

What started with a passion for old iron grew into a shop centered around craftsmanship, creativity, and doing things a little differently. Around here, we restore, rebuild, fabricate, modify, and bring old trucks back to life — but we’re not interested in simply making them new again.

​

We build them with personality.

​

Some stay beautifully original. Others get laid in the weeds, modern power, custom suspension, one-off fabrication, and an entirely new attitude. No two builds are exactly alike, because no two trucks — or the people behind them — have the same story.

​

And while old trucks will always be a big part of who we are, they aren't the only thing that rolls through our doors. Every year, ZZ Garage Co. takes on a SEMA build, giving us the chance to step outside the vintage world and push our creativity, fabrication, and attention to detail in a completely different direction.

​

From bringing decades-old iron back to life to building something destined for the SEMA floor, the vehicle may change — the way we approach the work doesn't.

​

Amber brings the fabrication side through Diesel Doll Industries, while Travis brings years of hands-on mechanical knowledge, craftsmanship, and an eye for making an old truck sit just right. Together, those skills come under one roof at ZZ Garage Co.

​

And, of course, there’s Sir Sparky — shop dog, emotional support supervisor, parts inspector, and a pretty important piece of the ZZ Garage Co. crew.

​

We’re a small, hands-on operation, and we like it that way. The people you meet are the same people turning the wrenches, doing the fabrication, solving the problems, and seeing your build through.

​

There’s a lot that goes into bringing an idea to life — experience, patience, creativity, long hours, and plenty of figuring things out along the way. We take pride in the process because whether we're working with a truck that's been around for sixty years or something headed for one of the biggest automotive stages in the world, the details matter.

​

For the old ones, that means keeping the character that made somebody fall in love with them in the first place. For everything else, it means building something we're proud to put the ZZ Garage Co. name behind.
